safe to drive until hp tune?

if i install all this stuff

zzp pulley sytem with a 2.6 inch pulley and pulley tensioner. i also own a pulley puller too. 60# siemens injectors, bosch injector harnes, cobalt-addiction cold air intake, 2 step colder spark plugs, cobalt-addiction heat exchanger, ingalls engine dampeners, polyurethane tranny mounts, megan catback exhaust system, gmp header, and xtc downpipe, eibach springs, hawk brake pads and powerslot rotors

can i drive it until i can get a hptune? what would happen to my engine?

Driving it will require a tow home. Wait out on the tune *prays*

not really, You can drive a car perfectly fine on a stock tune with 42lbers, and on a 42lbers tune while using 60lbers. I have done it before and my friends car have done it. As long as you dont go wide open throttle. Those of you who say not to do it obviously havent had experience with it. I know it sounds like itll blow up, but its not that serious unless you go wide open throttle.

I have experience with it, and I don't advise it.

Where does it say he has a tune for the 42#'s on there. From what I read it sounds like 34# tune with 60# injectors, that will result in a healthy air to liquid ratio. Driving it would make it worse.

I had minor problems with 60's before, and that caused liquid gas to come out of my tailpipe, and then flood the motor and cause it to stop running.

Would you seriously advise someone to drive around while WAITING for a tune? I would say it's okay to drive to go GET it tuned, but not in the meantime while waiting for one.

ya, if you want to limp the car to the shop to get it tuned it shouldn't be a problem, but be prepared to be going really slow. When i put my 60's in with no tune i didn't go above 20km/h, it was a slow drive lol.

Yea what he said, Besides trying to hit boost with un-tunned bigger injectors is just a waste of time. It flutters and shutters soo bad. Also gets pig rich, Not safe.

I'd drive it to be tuned without the injectors installed , just throw them in when you get there . with a stock tune the 2.6 is just going to bypass @ 12.5 #'s ( unless u have the boost bypass mod) I wouldnt think that you will have to worry about A/F . I drove my car with stage2 to get tuned and didnt notice anything at all different .

How is it going to bypass, when it is set to 100% boost from the factory. It won't hold much back at all.

I asked this before but didn't get a clear answer,if you were to get 42# injectors and install them could gm do the reflash or is there a specific code for each stage kit they sell?

bump

I can tell you from a tuner perspective that there is a HUGE difference between the IFR tables on 42lb vs 60lb injectors. Will it start, idle and drive....you bet. Unless the voltage offsets are WAY different or the injectors are rated at a different PSI. I wouldn't drive it very far if ou have to drive it. I wouldn't take it into boost at all. I would honestly take whatever tools I needed to swap the pulley and injectors with me and swap em in the parking lot at your tuner. I have done it many times. It is really easy and then there are no worries
