its all in the tune and how you treat the car. turbo swapped has been up to 414whp daily and 440whp on race tune, highest i know of still supercharged is a little bit above 350whp

I'm throwing in some 60# injectors, a 2.8" pulley, a heat exchanger, injen air intake, corsa catback exhaust, and a ingalls torque dampener , and a tune this weekend, and I was just wondering what is a safe hp on the 2.0 lsj supercharged engine

that's a pretty common setup, you should be fine on stock internals. if you want to be a little safer with better cooling, add a dual pass endplate. will play VERY nicely with the heat exchanger. i just injectors, he, dual pass, and a tune with a 2.75" pulley, my ia2 never went over 120, and only went that high cause it was i think the 5th pull for the tune. lol.

how safe is meth???

and yea I know its not a huge build but the best my budget could build for me

plus I don't want to wreak any internals since I don't have the time and money to do a full rebuild right now, that's why I was wondering what the safe hp is

you will not touch the max output of the stock block with an M62 unless you spray like about a 200 shot of nitrous. You may still fail eipcally at tuning and destroy the engine, but not because of too much power.

less than 50% meth in the mixture is safe. period. its the agressiveness of the tuner that poses danger to teh manifold

its just fact. it will richen and cool the engine and a 50/50 mix is not flammable. unless you run too strong of a meth mix, too large of a nozzle, or have an agressive tune (too lean or too much timing) this cant pop your motor.

i am personally going to run a 80-20 meth mix. harnessing the most energy possible out of the methanol and 20% water to lower the flash point of the meth
