Ok read all the threads about this before but I have a quick question... If I take the insulation off from under the hood will that make the SC/engine louder? And will this also make te engine run too hot/cold with out the insulation??? will it hurt the engine in other words????

 

I'm assuming you mean will you hear the motor more... you cant actually make the motor louder by taking that off.

Also it shouldnt hurt it, the reason they have ti is so that you cant hear it as much and things dont vibrate as much, something they do with more expensive cars, to make the ride more comfortable.

HAHAHA... when I read the title.. I thought it was going to be about someone ripping on Adam Chant and his very ethical business practices with SCdyne.

 

Yea I meant hear the engine more..... I am the type of person who likes the way the engine sounds especially a SC one. I know it won't make it faster but I can't to hear how a CAI or SRA sounds on it. I am not big on the way an exaust sounds I am an all engine type person.
