Single or Dual Exhaust
I was wondering if anybody could tell me whether a single exhaust or a dual exhaust would be better for my SS..I would like to hear all opinions cause im really confused on which one to get cause even the skylines , rx-7s , and all the other ricers only have a single exhaust...i have only very rarely seen a ricer with a dual exhaust other that a tiburon and an SRT4....thanks for your input cuz im reall looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say.
Most of the cars with dual exhaust do not have a true dual exhaust. All they have is one muffler with dual outlets.
That being said, it is more of an appearance preference then a performance advantage. I personally like the look of the dual exhaust, but the rear bumper of the SS has only one “cut” in the rear bumper on the passenger side.
I don’t know how you could make a dual exhaust look good on the SS unless you dress the rear with the RK sport or Razzi skirt.

As said only a few cars use True dual exhaust, The Mustang, The Corvette, and The GTO. The Viper uses side pipes which can be considered dual exhaust. Basically on antyhing under 5.0L its not neccesary to get good performance out of your exhaust.
