same thing with me.

I did a third of each out of a 16oz. can and didn't get ANY smoke, save for a tiny puff on a pull in first gear at 5,000 rpms.

I was also near empty when I did it. I let it sit for about 5-10 minutes (followed the how to) I take it you're supposed to let it sit longer?

You might have needed more. I put 1 full can in my gas tank with only 20L or so of gas left, 1/4 in my oil and 3/4 in the vac line in my truck then let it sit for 15-20mins...this was the result.

I never tried it on the cobalt, so that being said, my gas tank and engine is alot bigger then a cobalts..lol. So you might need more, might not...lol. Just my .02 cents. I know the sea foam bottle will say how much to use on it though.

It felt like it had a little more pep, my guess is better throttle response? but it could of freed up some ponies.

Do you let it sit with the car turned off for 20 min then drive it or let it idle for 20 min then drive it? Planning on doing this in a couple weeks when I change my oil.

turn it off for 20 mins. Put some in the gas tank then oil, then suck it up with the vac line. You might need someone to hit the throttle so the engine doesnt stall, i had to use my throttle lever to do that. Once you finish sucking it up, shut the engine off right away and let it sit.
