im doing a engine swap from a blown le5 to the 2.0 lsj supercharged. my question is is the console gear shifter from the ss different from the ss/sc? it had the 2.4l getrag tranny in before and now it has the 2.0l lsj supercharged engine with the g85 tranny.. im sure someone has done this swap. post up if u know..

 

i believe all you have to do is unclamp the shifter assembly, and then clamp it on the new tranny. dont quote me though

 

ill give it a try and see if it will work
