Shifting....Helppp

Alright i have a 07 cobalt ss/sc that i have had for about 3 weeks now, im new to driving a stick car so far i feel like im doing ok at it. Can someone just give me some advice/tips on what to do/not to do when shifting? I usually shift at around 2000 rpms.

Big one is dont slip it, when it starts to "grap" let it grab. Slipping will glaze the disc and take the clutch out.

This car likes to shift higher than 2000rpm. Shifting at that rpm usually results in a sloppy clutch feel after a while.

3000 is the recommended shift point for light throttle daily driving. It really gives you a confident firm clutch feel.
