Just replaced the clutch and it was shifting awesome but now the only time I can go into 2nd gear is if I go from 1st. I can't downshift to second cuz it won't go. All the other gears go in awesome but 2nd gear is becoming a huge pain. I think it's either the shifting linkage may be off or something related to that. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Could this be from the roll pin shattering? It didn't start happening until I got on it on the highway and 2nd hasnt been the same since

I just checked the cables and they look to be functioning fine as just as they should

how close to the floor is the clutch grabbing? if the clutch isnt releasing properly the first thing you will notice is a hard 3-2 downshift or its hard to get into reverse.

 

It goes into reverse great I can't barely ever get it to downshift to second. Every other gear is great but 2nd is a huge hassle. Clutch grabs about halfway down a little towards the top it's a nice feel

 

Roll pin could be on the way out but I'd take a good look at the cable clamps. The one to the right could have slipped just a little, which would make second hard to get.
