which kind of LED lights could i use to still have them but move them to, say the Grills near the exhaust? a few little LED 921 retro'd into the grill would be cool no? you think it would be possible to extend the harness down to that part of the car?

 

You should try out something like these

Would look much cleaner than some rigged up bulbs.

also are all cobalt trunks interchangeable? and also which had no round reverse lights and the third brake light?

 

G5 trunks.
They're interchangeable.

 

I think it would, plus those won't be weatherproof, though those might be brighter. I can't say how good the quality of the ones I liked will be because I dint truly know, but for the $7 they cost it would be worth a shot, at least as an expariment.


Also, any g5 coupe trunk will work, and have no reverse lights.
