shocks and struts

im a newb and had a question about our setup. i have an 06 SS/SC. looking to get new shocks and struts

do we have struts in front only and shocks in back? Im friends with subaru people and they have struts all the way around and i wanted to make sure i knew what i would need.

Struts in front, shocks in back. If you order by make and model, it should come up with the proper parts that are needed.

If you want, try getting the new FE5 system from the 08+ Cobalts. Much better shock valving.

i saw that package on crate engine depot and wanted to make sure that was the whole kit, all in one pop.

Yes, as long as you keep you stock struts, because there are a lot of pieces they don't send. Here, i'll find the diagram real quick...

you will need to keep #9,8,7,6,4,2,1 from your stock struts when you order the FE5-s package from CED. All they send you is 3,10.

I have ssc springs with koni yellows, I love them, the ssc springs have a stock spring rate and the yellows arent too rough, even for pittsburgh streets, handles pretty well on beaver runs north course too. But this setup also cost me a grand total, so its all about how your budget looks.
