For almost a year I've been fighting a CEL that seems to whipping my ass pretty good. I've been getting the P0018 Code and I've replaced both Cam and Crank sensors and I followed the directions to make sure TDC was proper when i done them. Only thing I can think of is its out of time. Im debating to take it to the dealership but not sure if they will give me a problem with my valve cover being painted. Anyone else have this code problem?

She run's fine as well like no problems with start up or idle.

Your valve cover has nothing to do with the problem. Why would they care?

 

I can see them saying the paint prevented the head from cooling properly and thus fked u up... and then hit you up for 1000$.
