Go for it! After all, you can order your car with stage 2 and one of the performance exhausts from the dealer.

I put Injen Intake, DC Sports Strut tower bar, Corsa Touring Exhaust, and GM Stage 2 on when I had only 500mi on the car and haven't had any problems at all. I say go for it.

The rule I've always heard is leave the car stock for the first 1000mi. Make sure there aren't any problems with it right off the lot.

Once you hit 1000mi... go get the oil changed (check for metal shavings, sign of problems). Then feel free to mod away.

No, you will not hydrolock unless you submerge the filter in water. Get the AEM dryflow btw.

The general rule of thumb is to wait until your car is off the dealer lot to mod it.

dont get the k&n. use the AEM dryflow because it doesnt use oil in the filter like the k&n.
