I had the AEM, and it was a great intake, but I prefer my Rebel Intake over the other brands.
oh yea man, i was fine with the AEM (got it for dirt cheap) and then the opportunity to get the Injen came around (once again, for dirt cheap) and i jump on it.

Then why debate the Injen vs AEM? All intakes are only diff by a couple hp..

i've had a few different kinds of intake setups on my car.

went from stock to air box mod, K&N cai, back to stock, AEM, & Injen cai.

out of all them, i prefer a cai.

The design of the filter is the biggest contributing factor to the efficiency of an intake system. Yes, all intakes are pretty damn close, and that's why my answer was to go with whatever is in the budget, and why I said that any big name intake will be fine vs. recommending a specific intake. My bigger issue is with someone saying they can feel the difference between 2 intakes, because anyone that knows anything knows that you can't. Doesn't change the fact that the aem dry flow filter outperforms others on the market. By a significant amount? no. That's why I didn't recommend one vs. the other.

I honestly wish I could help you out here. I have the Injen intake and I like it. I bought it on the car already. The honest truth about the high end intake companies is that they will rave their highest gains with a car that has been modified and claim it to be on a stock car. Not true.
