Should u go 3" Intake???

Should I go with the 3" T-304 Intake OTTP have for sell??? I just don't want to buy the 2.75" and then have to upgrade to the 3". Will it be a big difference??? Will I have to change TB's in order to suck in the 3"s???

lol GOSH! u guys any details on what differs in power? For example I was in ZZP's website and I saw their 3" intake only did like 9 HP or something like that. Now I don't understand how Injen's intake does up to 16 HP gain. But a 3" one does 9 hp? Why would I want to buy an intake that gives less power to the balty! (talking about ZZP's which is what I saw proof of)

different cars in different climates at different sea levels with different humidity in the air cause different numbers causing people to make different discisons at different prices.

They compared injen to their 3" intake I believe. But I'd get the zzp 3"

Hell, I have an injen for sale. It's got some wear on it from use, but it's off the car and ready to ship. $90 shipped

How can the AEM intake be 2.75" when it uses more than half the stock tubing? It's literally just a replacement for the maf housing...

You're not going to get 16 hp in any supercharged cobalt from any intake... ANY manufacturer is going to show the lowest before vs. the highest after dyno reading, and I don't trust them. Dyno's mean nothing anways. Some show a gain of 9 hp, but guess what... you can get a gain or loss of 9 hp between runs on the same dyno, same conditions. So big deal.

Any of the top name intakes will be fine, go with what's in your budget.

yea the AEM is nothing more than an over priced airbox mod. right now i'm rocking the injen and love it. but if i were to go TVS i will definitely upgrade to a 3" cai.

Do you realize that the overpriced airbox mod flows more air more easily than the one you bought?

i used to have the AEM, i noticed a difference with it but i notice a bigger difference with the Injen. they were both used and i got a great deal on both.

just so you know, i'm not swearing by the Injen, haha. i just prefer it over the AEM.

so you're saying you can tell a difference of MAYBE 1 or 2 whp??? come on bro, NOBODY can tell that difference. Maybe it SOUNDS different, but you can't possibly think you can tell the difference between 240 - 241 whp lol.

good man. i'm glad you clarified your reason. i hate when the injen nut huggers come out and say "Injen FTW". All the intakes for the SS/SC do pretty much the same thing. You get a gain of about 8-10hp and louder supercharger whine. its pretty much personal preference/ budget when selecting an intake for the SS/SC.

I had the AEM, and it was a great intake, but I prefer my Rebel Intake over the other brands.
