Sick of this sluggish pile of sensors!!!
Replaced so far with fairly decent evidence of requirement: Cam position sensor, MAF sensor (that was missing, i had to buy it), MAP sensor, & the crank position sensor. Now I have a p2261 code that does not show in global connect SI. I did find a GM Link article explaining it though. All 3 scanners I have read and describe the code as a supercharger bypass valve-mechanical. I go through the entire SI book and it leads me the final step of "Repair the boost source hose or the port for a restriction or blockage." Well at the boost source hose port, I have BOOST, like maybe 3-5in hg! Now a little higher RPM's and get a little vacuum, but maybe only 13in hg. Any help? Or am I just destined to wait till Sunday when Jim comes over?
Am I reversing my open and closed thinking with the actuator or what?
I feel retarded.
All I wanna do is get it to a tunable condition and go Trifecta, or some other virtual tuner I find.
It''s HP Tuned now, but I have never seen my fuel / boost maps my self.
