Thats a very common spot for an exhaust leak on our cars. Pick up a Remflex gasket for it. Should solve your problem.

We started using thin copper ring gaskets on our VBand parts now and they seal a lot better!

you know where I can get one. I went to two places around my area, they laughed at me because I said I had a 2.0 and not a 2.2 or 4. They told me GM didn't make a coablt like that lol. This was napa, autozone said they don't carry anything for the 2.0???

Haha, that just goes to show what kind of morons work at those places.

Remflex has a website that you can order from. When I get home from work I'll send you the exact size 2-bolt flange gasket you would need to order (there are a few options). I have never had a leak again since installing the Remflex gasket. They come as a 2-pack as well, so if something should ever happen, you will always have a spare.

An exhaust leak sounds more like a ticking sound. You will also notice carbon build up at the location of the leak (obviously).
like this?

I was thinking of getting the ZZP Header, Should I get the weld in option instead of the V band clamp then? IS there a flex pipe with the ZZP one?

Wonder what this revision is ........ And with that, I wonder if those of us that have the old leaking style will be offered this revision as a warrantee type of thing at little or no additional cost ..

You know what, thank you Staged. I had no idea cat-less had that sound.. I always assumed it was a leak. With the windows up and music off it sounds like it is by the glove box.

If it makes that sound but I have no leak, I can live with that. I will have to check for carbon build up. I don't hear a ticking, though.

I would hope so! Given that it is an actual leak. I'll have to look into mine to make sure, now that Staged gave me information I didn't know.

Yeah, every hi flow cat setup I've ever tried always gave an increased noise down by the glove box area. My stock downpipe always made some noise, but never the air rushing through sound. My catless setup just intensified the sound a bit more.

Blackdew21: Below is the Remflex gasket link. Check it out.

No. That is not the correct bolt hole spacing or size. I will send you the correct size later. I meant to send you it last night, but I got tied up with stuff after work. I'll send you a PM later.
