Thats a very common spot for an exhaust leak on our cars. Pick up a Remflex gasket for it. Should solve your problem.
you know where I can get one. I went to two places around my area, they laughed at me because I said I had a 2.0 and not a 2.2 or 4. They told me GM didn't make a coablt like that lol. This was napa, autozone said they don't carry anything for the 2.0???

Remflex has a website that you can order from. When I get home from work I'll send you the exact size 2-bolt flange gasket you would need to order (there are a few options). I have never had a leak again since installing the Remflex gasket. They come as a 2-pack as well, so if something should ever happen, you will always have a spare.
All of you guys are 100% positive its leaking? Hi flow cats and catless setups will give you the sound that xxxxsh4dowxxxx described (air rushing by the glove box).
An exhaust leak sounds more like a ticking sound. You will also notice carbon build up at the location of the leak (obviously).

Haha, that just goes to show what kind of morons work at those places.

I just saw on ZZP's web site they revised the V band clamp on April 20th,
For the mid header.
Cobalt & Ion ---> ZZ Performance

If it makes that sound but I have no leak, I can live with that. I will have to check for carbon build up. I don't hear a ticking, though.

You know what, thank you Staged. I had no idea cat-less had that sound.. I always assumed it was a leak. With the windows up and music off it sounds like it is by the glove box.

I would hope so! Given that it is an actual leak. I'll have to look into mine to make sure, now that Staged gave me information I didn't know.

Yeah, every hi flow cat setup I've ever tried always gave an increased noise down by the glove box area. My stock downpipe always made some noise, but never the air rushing through sound. My catless setup just intensified the sound a bit more.
