yeah but if he gets methanol injection then he won't have to get the dual pass or option b

go with the hahn header and downpipe too. i have it, worth every penny. and get an ottp 3" intake. 2.8 and go ahead and go with 79s. i've seen/heard my 60s idle compare to a certain, friends..., 79's idle. the 79s idle so much better and are actually easier to tune

like your first part haha.. and for header and downpipe i was not sure if they made one.. but i will go with them for shure now that i know they do.. as for 79 compared to 60# injectors does anyone els agree with what he said?

also.. with thoes mods.. i only have 91 octane gas in town.. maby 93 if i drive aways haha.. but will these mods work with 91 or is it posible to go e85 or octane boosters?

oh also. if you get the methanol. forget about the zzp stage 3 because they won't be able to get a good tune for the methanol, so you'll be getting a custom tune anyways. you can get your own pulley, shortened belt, heatexchanger, etc...everything you need. from ottp. and if you order your intake, heat exhanger, pulley/hub, meth kit, and belt from ottp i bet he'll give you a little discount. but they don't carry the 79s.

p.s. check out my vb garage. i'm on 91

edit. here:

OTTP dual pass heat exchanger
2.8" blower pulley/hub
stage2 belt
NGK 2step colder plugs
60lb injectors
R.A.W. all 3" intake
Vibrant 3" filter
R.A.W. 1/2" throttle body spacer
AIS trunk mount alky kit
90/10-methanol/water
10gph nozzle
Hahn header w/ 3" collector
Hahn 3" downpipe
Hahn 3" catback

thats my mod list. and i made 273/250 on it. you can get your:
3" intake
plugs
belt
pulley
hub
heat exchanger
methanol kit +spacer(though it will be devils own)
dual interceptor setup
clutch
.....aaaaall from ottp. and the 60's w/ the harness if you choose 60s.

so that just leaves you the hahn header, downpipe, and catback. and then your short throw and custom tune.

all sounds good.. but the heat exchanger.. would not get that from ottp.. i would get that from zzp.. ottp is more expansive and smaller that the s3 zzp one.. i would prolly go with a custome tune anyways.. your making 273 250 on 91 octane with no problems?

exsoccer is exactly right, ottp is a great vendor! But i would also go with the s3 from zzp it seems to be the most efficient h/e available for us right now.

daily driven 273/250 on 91 pump

sorry for going overboard on laying things out for you hahah. but i had to piece all my **** together myself with no help. and it was frustrating. so just get all that **** from ottp. then the zzp s3 h/e. and the hahn exhaust.

btw. the reason i suggested 79s is because even if you don't pulley down. the 79s will barely be breaking a sweat on a 2.8, and so if you DID want to pulley down past 2.8...you'ld just need a dual pass endplate and option b style tank...and thats it

no wasting money on another set of injectors

i supose you are right with the 79s because they can be tuned for the 2.8 pully also.. and lower if needed.. and alot of my stuff if not all besides exhaust and h/e will be from ottp. i have heard alot of good things about them..

i was looking on ottp.. they have siemens 80# no 79 tho..

stop filling his head with nonsense. he doesn't need all that yet

he just wants to get this **** together right now. and after it is. then maybe in a few months or so he can port the blower, drop pullies. go E85, etc. but not right off the bat

Why not if hes gonna do stuff to it he mise well do the good stuff right off the bat and not waste the time, money and effort into the 2.8 and the other stuff, porting the blower is cheap and easy, 2.6 pulley=cheap, all the cooling mods isnt cheap but if your gonna buy parts why not buy the good stuff right off the bat.

cause its more fun the see the car progress. i put all the parts on my car one at a time over about a 3month period. and i do have to say it was a lot more fun installing them that way. so practically every two weeks i would do something new to the car. its just nice to have something to look forward to. if you do it all at once its just kinda like okay now what....
