So I dropped a socket

So I was taking my alternator out and I dropped a very new socket down the front of it. It never hit the floor of the garage and I have no idea where it is. Anybody have any guesses?

No tool left behind.

either that or check behind the alternator...there should be a little "crack", thats where I usually drop my sockets while changing the alternator

if it was a champion or performance tool brand, just let it go.... if it was craftsman, snap on, matco you better get it.

if you didnt drop it in the motor its probably on the subframe somewhere. if you can get everythig back together just drive short and brake hard to shake it out in your driveway
