I dont see why just installing them would be a problem. He's stage 2 on stock injectors right now... anything is better then stock, besides, doesnt stage 2 come with a pcm or something to add more fuel?

Bad idea. Most likely your car won't run with them well if at all. You can try if if you don't believe me but it will be a big hassle when you just have to switch them back.

You will have twice more fuel all of the time. It just wont be good. Imagine AFR's of 7:1 instead of 14:1 @ idle and @ wot you will go near 5:1 It's just not good @ all.

No they are calibrated differently. Won't work.

i went from stock to 60s with a custom tune so i cant say anything about stage 2 tune but my car certainly wouldnt start with the 60s in it before it got tuned.

i am just guessing but i think he bought the pieces seperate so he has gotten a pulley and a plug in tune so far and has went with 60s instead of 42s for injectors.

i have the plug and play next to me with the 60lbs injectors
how much more damage can 60lbs injectors do to my car that the stock ones are doing?

But if you really don't believe me than try it. Within 30 seconds of driving it you will see something is wrong and you will change it back.

Why are you so insistent on not taking the advice of people that know? It is not plug and play. It's plug and tune. The PCM in not calibrated to run 60lb injectors.

i dont own a cobalt.. i just didnt see then sense in it thats all. I just figured there was a pcm or something already that would just tell it how much fuel to use. apparently not, like i said, i dont own a cobalt of any sorts.

just thought it was common knowledge. I know my car wouldnt run with any sort of inj. upgrade. hell a cai can blow the motor! just thought cobalts were as easy as srt's or something... they both cheat haha

Some things are just not plug and play. Injectors are the perfect example.
