Thumbs up So I ordered my exhaust cutout.

Yeah I ordered the cut out from jegs. It was only like 50$ shipped. I'm still trying to figure a place to mount it.

I'm thinking that I should mount it before the pipe goes over the rear axel and make the cutout come out infront of the rear tire of the car. I figure this will give me some horses because it will eliminate that awful stock muffler, but, keep enough back pressure to not harm the motor or kill my low end torque.

But, I'm not sure yet, I would really like to mount it on the down pipe but there is just no room under the car. An electric cutout is pretty much out of the question just because there is no room under the car, it will probably get ripped off.

I will get some pictures and make a how to on it. Hopefully a video and sound clip too. If anyone has done it give me your info, and ideas!!

just keep it after the factory resonator or you will regret it and kiss your second gear scratches goodbye , I have a side exit setup and without some sort of back pressure it is **** !

You dont really need much back pressure on a FI car.

I found a great place to put it. There is some room right infront of the rear axle. I figure I'll stick it there and have the dump come out in front of the tire. That way I eliminate the rediculous stock muffler and some of the bends but keep enough back pressure to have to car run right.

Maybe I will get a little flame action once I get the Tag stage 3. But IDK wishful thinking? Im sure it will be succesfull this way.

Cheap horsepower FTW!!!!
