So i've been thinking

of putting my stock exhaust back on. All i have is a muffler right now and it's pretty raspy. I also removed the reasonator so i'm curious to see how the stocker will sound. Im mainly doing this so i can actually hear my supercharger. I did the air box mod and i haven't really been able to hear it due to the exhaust. Now i do plan on getting a header and downpipe combo, what do you guys think about putting that on with a stock exhaust set up? Also no cussin in this thread because i'm at work and we have a web filter that wont allow "banned" words. Thanks for your help

Does anyone know how the outcome will be with header downpipe combo on stock exhaust?? is it worth the money?

Despite certain people clamoring about the gmpp touring being a waste of money, it sounds so so sexy.

I really can't find an exhaust that fits me. I've watched SOOOOOOOO many videos and none are to my liking. I don't know if it's just me but i really don't like how the GM exhausts sound on our car.

What do you guys think about going back to stock and in the future adding header and dp combo to stock?? Is it going to help or just do opposite?

Right on, I'll be surprised if I ever break 260 :p

To the OP: Video's don't do exhausts justice most of the time. Find someone that has a touring and take it for a spin. It's just a low mellow rumble with normal driving, but she sure does sound mean when you open her up.

yes you will gain with a header/dp

probably more than from the catback.

header/dp/catback > header/dp/stock > stock/stock/catback > stock/stock/stock

Okay, i know someone that has HPT, but he has never done a cobalt b4 so i might ask to download someones tune or map or w/e it is and go from there. I wont be staged at the time just airbox and header dp with stock exhaust. Would you know a good starting place for me to tune with those mods?
