I jus wanna know how bad the vibes are. I heard one person say that they calm down after 500 miles and another say that they dont ever calm down. I really want them but dont want to deal wit a ton of vibes because this car is gonna be my daily driver. I wanna get solid tranny mounts too, but that may be too much...

I believe you will get alot more vibes from a solid motor mount, than from the trans mounts due to the mounting points.
Doing the trans mounts only stiffens the coupling to the frame, where as the motor mount goes directly to the body of the vehicle, and therefore directly into the cabin. I have done the trans mounts, CAB's, and the Ingals dampener on mine. And the vibes did decrease after a break in (~500-700 miles), but I never thought they were that bad anyways
Having been in cars with the solid motor mounts I can tell a difference,,, but I may eventually swap out my dampener for a solid mount, as the dampener doesn't do much for me at this point. Ultimately if you want the best traction possible in our cars you will have to deal with some vibes.
Hope that helps

They wouldnt ever calm down . The bushings on the trans mounts might over time , but the engine mount is all metal ...no bushing . The vibes you get from it will always be there . I ran Solid mounts and a poly trans mount in my 95 Trans Am with a very lopey 248/252 duration cam . It wasnt any worse than all poly IMO . No clue how that comparison would translate to a FWD .
people are forgetting, you can replace mounts all day, but think about what your doing. You replace something thats weak, well it creates a new weakest link. You put motor mounts, and trans mounts, and control arm bushings, well now you have hardly any movement in your powerflow, your going to start putting excessive wear and tear on your drivetrain components. The splines in your trans and axels are going to start to wear, and have the potential to break. Your clutch springs arent going to beable to absorb all of the impact anymore, and dont forget about the clutch chatter.
Also, if your putting CAB's in, what about the strut top? the strut can actually pivot, and if your control arm bushings arent going to absorb the impact, its going to be directed into your strut top, and replacing those bearings/strut tops arent exactly cheap.
Unless this is solely a race car, replacing all the bushings isnt the greatest ideas, invest in a clutch, stronger axels, smaller wheels and better tires if you want to take it to the track once in awhile.
