Does anyone have any experience with machining solid lifters? Are any of the brands mentioned above adjustable or do they all need to be machined to lash spec?

Sounds like a sweet deal but I'm gonna stick with cams that don't require solid lifters, like ZZP

JBP is definitely a NO-GO!

Bates and BLE make excellent products. Personally, I'd go with the BLE's.

BLE's are nice because they are adjustable. But you will need to check them per oil change because the jam nuts can back off. So they need maintained.

They seem to be hit or miss. I see some car groups love them, and others have nothing but problems with them.

Yep I was considering those for sure, but the whole maintenance deal wasn't appealing.
