something wrong?

well b4 i got my downpipe on i had a clogged cat....so b4 i knew it was clogged i raced a 85' vette..we were dead even from a 40 roll and when i shifted into 4th he put a whole car on me...(cat was clogged in race btw) well now that i got my downpipe on i wanted another run and i got a different outcome..same race tho 40 roll....we go and i put 2 cars on him instantly and he stays there when i shift into 3rd but when i shift into 4th he pulls on me again but in that race right b4 i shifted into 4th...at 6k RPMS its like it missed for a split second..then it went on like normal....its done this b4...is it the injectors or spark plugs what?

help!!

If you are still running stock injectors, that is most likely your problem with all those mods.

What kind of plugs do you have? Are you at least running the autolite 3922s? (1 step colder). Here's what I would guess:
1. At 6k you shouldn't be maxing out the injectors with your smaller pulley.
2. Could be belt slip but doubt it if you're running stage 2 belt.
3. Best guess is a misfire but not enough to cause limp mode.
4. Could also be some problem with your clutch slipping or oil leak onto your clutch plate (heard this before).

Iridium plugs run great in my car...they're gapped at .35 out of the box. Technically should gap from anywhere between .35 to .40 on stage 2, you can run factory plugs (ngk-r's) but you should go one step colder. I think the most available plug is autolite 3922 but no info on how they run.

NGK BKR7E plugs all the way. Even with only a CAI and catback, they made a HUGE difference. $2.82 each at advance auto

He can just order them over the phone if they're not in stock, usually takes a day or two at autozone or advance auto; no one local carries the denso plugs however.
