mine would go and sit at a afr and not change, then when you restart it it works fine for a little bit

i just turn the gauge off and on and it eventually works. pita. im thinking it might need a new sensor as it came out of a super gas truck before i got it.

When ever a wideband starts acting up its 99% because the sensor just needs to be replaced or you can hope its just that.

idk if the aem's have this, but my innovative has a free air calibration button that recalibrates the sensor making it more accurate... try and do that?

I don't know if AEM uses the same one but the Bosch wideband Innovate uses is available at Autozone or ebay for $50-80.
