suggestions for mods

i just bought a 06 ss s/c. love it, but i dont love the sound.... i want to find the right exhaust for a loud, deep sound.. also a cheap but good looking black hood. the damn deer i hit destroyed mine. i'd appreciate any and all suggestions so those two topics. im also looking for a good group to find that meets near jacksonville florida.. thanks..

Exhausts..

Hahn.
Megan.
Magnaflow.
Borla.
SLP.
Vibrant.

Just youtube them for the cobalt, and see what sound you like best.

No problem, i'm going with the Megan, becouse I think its the best deal.
Alot of people dont like it though, it prob isnt the tone your looking for, megan is a little ricey sounding.

I love my hahn exhaust. My friend had the megan and I liked it at WOT, but it was loud as hell for normal driving

I like my megan. Its loud when I gotta get up at 6am for work but during the day its good stuff. Hopefully it'll sound mean witha header and a DP. I agree with checking out youtube

right on, i dig the feedback guys. ill check all of them out. how big or small should i go on it? and what would be a good, cheap performance upgrade that would give me a decent amount of extra whp??

I had Synapse (the vendor on here) make me a stainless 2.5" catback using the stock muffler and resonator to keep the car sounding as close to stock as possible.

so what would be a good/cheapish first step to some quick horses? ehaust? headers? im a baby gear head trying to get a hang of things.

I would pick up a stage 2 kit from OTTP. Then I would get a header and downpipe
