Sooo I think she blew...
I am going to stray on this one and say its not a blown #4 and it doesn't sound like a wrx. The lope to the cam sound she is hearing isn't the wrx sound. I am guessing that the camshaft position sensor is on the fritz and or is broken.
Your first step hear is to scan the code. Also, start the car up tomorrow, or in a few hours, and let it idle tell its at 180 degrees, warm, and see how she sounds and drives then. Obviously don't go far.

an lsj can and will blow in any gear, a lot of it has to do with the tuning but you know that.
However there is much more load/strain/stress on the engine in 3rd/4th at wot. *Especially 4th*

Point of this thread is, the person thought they blew there motor, probably didn't. Got all scared about it, woke up in the morning, started the car and it was fine. More then likely he/she put it in limp mode and thought it was blown lol.
They haven't replied/posted back in so who cares now.

Code P0068
Maf/map sensor
Throttle position correlation
Yea...shes good.
I was worried because before I left for work today I read the thread that Area47 posted about getting ready for winter...and people were talking about the 2.9 and S2 tune being a bad idea.
So first thing I thought was it popped. I have never been in a car that did that before so I freaked.
Me= mini fail.
Because I had to get up in a few hours to go to my other job...as I said, I would not be able to mess with it until I get home.

now obviously you need to clean the maf sensor, the throttle body, and the cai.
Also, the 2.9 pulley and the stage 2 tune is a very bad idea. I mentioned that in the thread multiple times. It's a big pet peeve of mine and always has been. Why would you want to starve your motor of fuel in the higher rpms where you need it the most!
07hhr - lol thats a good one.
