I'm curious to see how your 2+ holds up. We had a regular spec stage 2 on ours, and it destroyed itself.... twice.

Now it's a stage 3+, in the breakin period. Seems to feel a whole lot better. 500-1000 miles of city driving and i'll find out how it holds up.

I'm right around 500 miles on mine, but I think I'm going to wait a few hunderd more miles before I try launching the car.

My stage 3+ did the same.... broke it in for 1000miles and went to the track...slipped first 2 runs. I then let the car cool down about 1 hour and made some more pases. The clutch never slipped once... just took a little bit of beating to break it in. The clutch now grips better then ever.

What causes it to keep revving as your foot is off the clutch?

The Cobalt supposedly has a hard clutch stock. The higher stage clutch you pick, does that make it harder to press in or is it actually smoother? I have never owned a manual car so I will probably burn the clutch pretty fast.

Will the clutch eventually go back to normal? Or is a new clutch needed.
