Alrighty so there's been a lot of discussions about spraying meth before the TVS will cause the rotor coating to go, or actually seize the bearings of the SC and lock it up by removing the greese on there etc... I've never experienced anything like that with my old m62 anyways

I will not be spraying methanol before the TVS when i install it, I've been spraying Distilled Water for the past year to keep the temp down, and I like that setup and Ive noticed better results interms of timing and iat2 wise on my m62...

The question is : Is it safe for the TVS to spray distilled water pre the TVS, or will that still damage the coating and the bearings, I personally don't think so as water doesn't have the corrosive properties of meth.

& if anybody is wondering I use a 3gph

I'm looking for pro's opinions on here as I've searched and couldn't find a straight answer, & no I don't want to spray meth regardless

I am waiting to bolt up my tvs as well and have been spraying meth through my M62 for 2 years. Was wondering the same but from all the research I've done it's a complete luck of the draw when it comes the the coating coming off the rotors due to meth. And to be honest I've never hear of someone's coating coming off their TVS due to meth. It's always been M62s. If the coating comes off the meth takes up the rotor tolerances anyways. I will be running pre blower. Much more be benificial.

 

I would do meth/water preblower. The reason I say that is if you seperate it, you won't get a good mix. I saw this on an S2000 that tried direct port. Blew the motor on the dyno, bad mix went super lean
