squeeling from diff

well my clutch was going out a while ago and i was hearing a squeeling from the tranny which i thought it was probably a throwout bearing... well i ordered a spec 3+ clutch and flywheel in and replaced the throwout bearing/slave cylinder and finally got it put back together... took it out for a test drive and basically im hearing a whining coming from the diff (not gear related) and my tranny is leaking fluid...

anyone else had this problem and what am i looking at for the bs on this whole ordeal???

where is it leaking from? is it tranny fluid or brake fluid? when do you hear the noise, driving, specific gear, in neutral, clutch in, clutch out?

i sold a clutch over the counter to a guy with a redline and he was back with the car a few days later with something similar. there is a little tin cover just above the passenger side axle that prevents debris from getting into the bellhousing. in this case, that little cover was pushed in against the flywheel and making noise. have a look at that.
