The GMPP is good...its borla for the most part...when I was looking for an exhaust I had 3 in mind...the GMPP...the actual borla...or corsa...I ended up getting the corsa touring and have absolutly 0 drone...I paid about $700 for it....but they werent lieing when they said that you wont get any drone in the cabin...

gmpp touring is the best sounding exhaust for this car, the performance sounds like a usual fart can exhaust

i have the performance model. it doesnt sound like a fartcan at all. i love how it sounds. its not loud like other exhausts so if cops hate exhausts where you live then you wont have any problems.
you can hear it in the cab in but its not loud loud where you will get a headache

like i said i have the performance. compaired to other cars with exhaust this is quiet. but i also have never been in a cobalt with the touring. but if your driving in the car you can deff tell theres an exhaust.
im still waiting to put on my zzp catted downpipe. i hope it beefs up the exhaust and makes it a little louder

ya its ok but when you get the tvs it will be close to the point of restriction. if your actually getting a tvs i would just go with the 3 inch zzp exhaust. no point in spending 700 dollars on the gmpp if your going to need a bigger exhaust down the road and the zzp one is only 400 bucks.

if your catless thats your problem. the exhaust it self is not the noise, its your cat, resonator and muffler.

Get catted, 2.5 or 3in mandrel bent piping, a 18+ inch magnaflow resonator and the stock lsj muffler.

I don't have any problems with mine, but it is loud (I have the performance GMPP). I'm running a TVS with a ZZP header and downpipe. It's not the worst for noise, but with a catless DP it definitely is noisy!

i'm just a ls but i have the gmpp performance which i love its a good mixture of being mellow and fairly quiet at idle but it really opens up and sounds deep at throttle. with any exhaust you'll find stealth mode (coasting in neutral) can come in handy at times thou
