Arrow SS/SC n00b questions.

So... we all know that I just got my SS/SC and have been learning how to handle the transmission.

First off... I get kind-of a "clacking" sound sometimes when I'm in 1st or 2nd at very low speeds, in a parking lot for example. Sounds like the tranny is rocking a little bit? It may be normal... but I have no idea what a "normal" manual tranny sounds like. I also here it "click" sometimes when I slide it into 1st when at a stoplight. That's normal too, eh?

Second... not tranny related... but when the boost gauge is reading below zero... like in the "kPa" area... that's when the bypass valve is open and the blower isn't providing boost... right?

Thanks for your patience guys. I'll get the hang of this SS/SC eventually. LOL

congrats to ya on the SS/SC ! now maybe when i come up to north carolina again there will be more than just 1 SC version to meet up with. if i had to guess on that clacking its probably cuz you need to bring your rpm's up a little before you shift to next gear. not sure what the click might be but when i see a red light comin i just push in the clutch and shift to neutral and coast up. by then your rpm's down good and you can shift into first easy, you shouldnt hear any noise.

Thanks for the answers... I wondered if anyone was gonna respond.

The interior's just the black/black... none of the dealers had any with the inserts. Apparently they don't stock very many of them at all.
