SS/SC Question

Wondering what way is the best way to go. I am going to be putting a smaller pulley on my SC but wondering if its better to go with the GMPP stage 2 or make my own kit. I know im going to be going lower than the 3" im thinking 2.55 or 2.5 just wondering what you guys think the best way to go is?

well, don't go with a stage 2 because you will need a new tune and you're ditching the pulley anyways. if you go that small make sure you have plenty of cooling mods or don't expect your engine to last.

custom kit.... much cheaper... personally i would not go under a 2.6 pully but if you go under a 2.8 you will need alot of cooling mods to be safe
i recomend 2.8, 60 lb injectors, stage 2 belt and custom tune

2.8 60lbs GM stage 2 belt custom tune

Cooling mods would be ideal but not a must with this setup

Cooling mods are over rated. Not needed, but recommended. I only recently got the Meth. Not saying they don't help, but you car will be fine without them.

Plenty of locals running 2.5 pulleys with no supporting mods, they have been running fine for over a year now.

Stick with a 2.8" pulley and hub, 60lb injectors, a good tune, plus a Cold Air intake to make that supercharger whine!

okay, so i been thinking of getting dual pass with option b and maybe a cobra or cx racing h/e for cooling mods. then stage 2 and put a 2.8 pulley on it. will that be the right way to go? or do i just like buy just a stage 2 belt and smaller pulley and maybe some injectors, im new at this so any help and diff opinions will help

Well if you put ur own stage kit together, it is goign to be cheap but then your are void warenty. If you go with a stg.2 you know what ur getting with the tune and you keep ur GM waranty
