All you would need to do is cut the 3-bolt flange off the SS/TC catback and weld on a 2-bolt flange. The exhaust will fit perfectly fine other than that.

I have done it on my RL.

OTTP sells the LNF flange that you need.

the mufflers arent different, its that tiny resonator, the ss/sc uses a monster of a resonator that keeps sound as well as rasp down to a minimum, the ss/tc is quieted down by its 2 cats

This is true. Mine is still much louder then a stock LSJ setup. But I am also cat-less.

I am going to install a metallic spun cat and a 24" resonator to replace the tiny LNF one. I think that should help.

I am pretty sure the inlet on the LNF muffler is 2.5" and the LSJ is 2.25". I am not sure about the straight throw claim but I have heard other people say that.

You are correct sir.

The inlet of the LSJ muffler is 2.25", but the outlet to the tailpipe is 2.5". I looked inside of my stock muffler when I cut it off a while back, and it seemed to be 2.25" all the way through.
