According to the Eibach Cobalt literature I've been reading their springs do not change the height of the Cobalt's front Vs SS/SC springs and are only .5" lower in the back then the SS/SC springs.

Also according to the Eibach literature their springs lower the front of a base Balt by 1" and the rear by 1.8". If this is correct then the SS/SC springs should lower the base Balt 1" F and 1.3" R.

On a side note: The FE5 rear springs lower the Base Balt rear by 1.3" -- I will be confirming this soon, as I ordered a rear set from crateenginedepot this morning for $75.

That help?

What Cobalter LS says is correct about the ride height. I am running the Eibach ProKit springs on my SS/SC and the cornering is much improved because they are progressive rate and even if the stockers are progressive rate(I'm not sure if they are), the Eibach's must have a steeper progression. My record on the road is 0.98 lateral g's sustained through a 270 degree curve. BTW, if anyone would like to buy a complete set of stock SS/SC springs with 20k miles on them, $50 plus shipping. PM me

well there is the pro kit and also the sportline kits. the pro kit does not drop the front and drops the rear only about .5 for the SS. now the sport kit drops the front around 1 and the rear around 1.3. both kits work really well i hear. i guess the rest would be up to you to choose.

As of 4 months ago, sportlines were not available for the SS/SC, and if you got the sportlines for the standard cobalt, the drop numbers would not apply, because the starting point is different.

I would go with the Eibach Sportlines as well, nice drop and still provide a nice ride from what I have heard.
