stage 1 or 2???

hey just bought my 06 ss/sc about a week ago.. i see the staged kits you can get.. and that stage 1 and 2 get injectors. i have the cash to get both one then 2 but.. do i really need to get 1? am i not going to get the cpu flash if i just get the second one? i need help

go with a kit from OTTP or ZZP...unless u have a warranty that ur trying to keep?

What he said. I'm currently OTTP stage 1 which is basically GM stage 2 equivalent. The prices for OTTP are much better and are quality parts. Not to meantion that the upgrades go to a higher/superior level.

ok is it something i can do on my own.. i sold my second car i can't really go a day without it mine.. and about the warranty no it has non.. lol i have 152k on it.. and yes it still runs strong hahaha

I did my upgrade last year. you can download gm's technical instructions on the matter and use it for this application. even if you go with a higher upgrade, the instructions help you with step by step stuff on how to remove your fuel rail, injectors, supercharger, etc.

there should also be one in adobe format so printing it is a snap, just go google it later. also be advised that if you do indeed try the do it yourself route, you'll need the services of a machine shop with a hydraulic press to install the new hub.
