Stage 2, 2.8 pulley question?

ok i am getting my stage 2 installed on tuesday and i just switched out the 3.0 with the 2.8 from pulleyboys so it can be put on with no problems correct? i just compared the two and the 2.8 seems way lighter is it just me or is it supposed to be this way any comments or commentary on this issue would be appreciated as soon as you can thanks guys just love this site and all your good feedback all the time.

Yes, the Pulleyboys 2.8" pulley is a lot lighter than the 3.0" one that comes with the Stage 2. There shouldn't be any problems with getting the 2.8" to fit either, it pops right on. Have fun with it.

When I was running that setup, I didn't notice any slip or hesitation with mine. So from my experience I would say its not necessary.
