Okay i know im going to sound like such a chump asking this but try and bare with me since i havent been checking the Cobalt News lately. So hear it is. Whats is the difference between the stage 2,3 and 5 Kits? Could u guys please explain. i had my heart set on a Stage 2 but im hearing about the stage 3 and 5. i need some clarification.....Thnks!

 

Stage 2 GM? If so...warranty.

Intense stage 3. Supposed to be a bit better than GM stage 2 but all numbers indicate they are equal. (from what I have seen)

Intense Stage 5 is the top of the mountain but you have to send your blower in to be ported. No dyno numbers that I have seen.

The Intense stage kits are cheaper. Go to their website under packages and see the differences in the stages.

 

I have intense stage 3 and i put down 253 HP and 227 Ft/lbs TQ so i think it is slightly better than the GM stage 2. The highest ive seen with a GM stage 2 is 248 HP.

 

i have intense stage 4.... i love it, im getting a 2.5" pulley soon and plan on dynoing with both a 2.7 and 2.5 on 7-1-06

GM makes two kits that allow you to keep your warranty. Stage 1 and Stage 2.

All these other kits your hearing about are from a vendor called Intense.
