I would like to know where you read that from. I have the GM Stage II and I love it. I got my car with 6000 miles, it now has 14,500. Not one problem with it. If you want to keep your warrenty, I say hells yes to stage 2. If you want more power and don't care about warrenty, custom your "own" kit. Much cheaper and you can get a lot more power.

I think it is great. I have only had it for the last couple of months but I can vouch for the must needed added power and blistering speed. It boost like no other!! For the person who wrote the comment about it not being worth it and it blows pistons, you have a WARRANTY!!!! If GM dealer puts it in...so go ahead and blow it up...you will be covered.

The sad part is i think the original poster left after the first response. Its hard to tell if someone is kidding on a forum so he probalby thought what Red2.4SS/SC said was the gospel truth.

So now he thinks GM stage 2 is garbage and will hesitate modding his car. Its a shame

haha alrgiht im sorry , stage 2 is good , there is limited problems , the tune they give you runs a little on the rich side so its safe theres only been 1 or 2 blown motors from it , 1,000 people are running it on this site , next time use the search button

Red2.4SS/SC or whatever was joking. I dont even have stage 2 and know its a great thing. The only problem Ive heard is the dealership forgot to to do the reflash and thats it. Good luck and get it.

Well worth it. No probs at all with mine. Make sure you get the right reflash from GM and its A++. I went from a 14.2 stock time to a 13.6 with stage II and exhaust.
