make sure you dont pay more than $200 for the install... otherwise you are getting raped. $150 is the ideal price, if they tell you differently then tell them you will take it to a diff dealer.
i cant get any dealers in maryland to install stage 2 without voiding my warranty. please correct me if im wrong but if they install it does your warranty still go to 36000. thats what ive read and seen in magazines. any info would be appreciated.
I paid $176.14 for my Stage2 install
ive called and went to a couple local dealers. none of them will keep the warranty. they tell me they wont install it and that even if they did they would not warranty it. they have no problem selling me the kit but when it comes time to install there no help at all.
Got mine install at Criswell in Gaithersburg with no prob. Let me know if you need more info
actually according to federal law, no aftermarket performance modification can void a warranty unless its proven that the product installed was the direct result of the failure. Furthermore NO GM part, that is any part made and sold by GM can void your warranty unless it explicity says this will void your warranty, IE GM stage 3 kit. Gm can not void your warranty if you install stage 2 yourself, unless the failure or problem is a direct result of improper installation of the said products.
