stage 2

i wanna get stage 2 but i wanna also purchase a smaller pulley when i get it. What would i have to add to stage 2 to be able to run a 2.8 pulley? also i see that stage 2 doesnt come with spark plugs, would new spark plugs be a good idea? if so what brand. Thank You

honestly go 2.9.. and you would need nothing.. other than NGK 2 step colder plugs.. to help counter knock. and you will be SAFE.. a 2.8 is all dependant on alititude...

2 step colder plugs are a little extreme for a 2.9" pulley, 1 step colder should be more than adequate for the set up. Some people still run fine on stock plugs. NGK BKR7E are the ones i have and they work great for my 2.9" pulley and full plumbing.

You could always just get the stage 3 pulley - you probably won't need to do anything.....

I am running the stock plugs with my S2 and 2.9 setup. Car runs like a champ. I ran the NGK BKR7E's for a month or so, I was getting a sputter at around 6550RPM (may have been a gapping issue.), I put the stock plugs in and havent had a problem since.

The stage 3 pulley is an overpriced heavy steel 3" pulley, a nice lightweight aluminum 2.9 or 2.85 would be much better!

I can say from experienc, I purchased the stage 3 pulley and it performed better than a stage 2, but when I put my 2.9 on from ZZP it was a different car. Car hits 15lbs of boost instantly and climbs to about 17 from there.

Go with nates 2.9 and youll be happy. When I held the stage 2 pulley and nates at the same time there was no comparing them. The aluminum used on nates pullies is high quality and so lightweight. Boost climbs faster than you can keep up with it. Best 60 bucks I have spent. Oh and get the polished pulley it shines like you wouldnt believe. nate is always fast at answering questions on here too so if you have any hes the man you wanna talk to.
