ok well im wondering if i need a stage 2 belt with my stage 2 injectors i just ordered in and my 2.9 pulley that i'm going to be matching up together?? or will it be ok to run stock belt with these mods??

 

I'd use the s2 belt.

you can try it it may slip but won't damage anything .I just used an oversized tensioner.
way cheaper than the belt.gates #38009. You just have to clearance the tensioner with a grinder.Check the intense-racing if you want.Pretty simple.
You need a tune to run the injectors.

 

I did the same, used a pulley from the grand prix. part number here is #39009. Simple and I like the fact that if you need a new belt they will order stock one, less chances of screwing up!

 

how bout a 2.7 inch with stock belt any info...or 2.7 with GTP pulley

 

i have a 2.9 billetflow pulley with stage 2 injectors im throwing in this week hopefully and i know the dealership here wants about $100 for the stage 2 belt which i think is a retarded price....
