what can i expect to beat if i took my ss/sc with jus the airbox mod and upgraded to stage 2...?

ditto, I beat stage 2 cars and I'm still on a stock motor. Stage 2 is worthless IMO. Twinscrew FTW!

 

you should be competition for a 05-07 GT(dig), sti's and evo's (from a roll.), you'll be able to beat g35's and 350Zs(dig or roll), gti's will get pimp slapped, you'll take out most luxuary cars..

 

05-07 GT's will crush a stage 2 balt, from a dig or roll. They run in the 13's and get to 60 in 5.2 seconds. That's a consistent number too.

 

and, what.. you're saying stage 2 can not run a 13.7-9? maybe not in the dallas heat.. but i've seen it happen at englishtown, nj

these cars just need to be driven properly. they can be quick.

 

I'll tell you what, dallas heat sucks. I was out in 104F yesterday doing autocross runs and my IAT2's never went under 140

Does it matter? Best way to find out is to go to the track and see what your time is. Any car that is slower you can beat any car that is faster you cannot.

Just cause someone sez they can beat em does not mean you will. Your skills, your car, your time. Be safe.

 

i dont think gt's will crush a stage 2 and i dont think a stage 2 will crush a gt. i think that is strictly a driver's race from a dig. gt mustangs and stage 2 cobalts i would have to say are right about equal. but as long as the original guy cant drive, not saying he cant then he wont beat alot of cars. it's all driver when it comes to racing.

 

I've raced my friend and his 05 GT from a roll many times. Even when I was stock, we were fairly even from a roll. From a dig WOULD be a completely different story, however. With a GT getting a much better launch.

STAGE II, they're fairly even cars.

 

Well Ive raced a few early 00' gt's and not one of them has beaten me. And the 05-07 arent much faster then they are, maybe by a few tenths in 1/4 mile.

 

from what i hear the 05-07s are a 1/2 second quicker. not sure how true that is.

 

A STAGE 2 is very fast car if a stock ss sc does 0 to 60 in low 6 second at stage 2 is just brutal even better if is a aftermarket with a good tune like most of us!!

BTW a GT and a S2 Cobalt is a drivers race. Hell I've raced GTs with my stock Cobalt and it was a drivers race. lol The GT driver sucked ass though.
