Stage 2 going in today!!!

Well, I just dropped off my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC at the dealership for the Stage 2 install.

Stage 2 from Pace Performance Parts: $598
Install from Park Chevrolet: $200
Total: $798

I plan to pick to car up around 5:30pm and if I have enough time, I will install the Pulleyboys 2.8 Pulley.

Review of everything coming soon.

you'll love it, you should have thrown the 2.8" in with the kit they would have never known.

stock to stg2 big diff
stg2 plus 2.8 you can feel it but wait till you get it tuned. I can't wait there's some serious power just waiting to be realeased.

Ok, Stage 2 has been officially installed. They (Park Chevrolet) did a great job too!

My first impression is how easily if shifts now thanks to the added torque. It's nice and smooth compared to being a bit jerky like before.

2nd gear is more amazing than before, especially with that 7K RPM Redline. 3rd, 4th, and 5th are amazing as well also.

You will no longer need to down shift to 4th on the highway, step on the gas in 5th and boost jumps up to 12psi and climbs incrementally up to 16. The thing starts flying. It's hard to believe a 4 cylinder will "pull" 5th gear. I'm used to my Corvette Z06 doing this in 6th gear on the highway but from a 4 banger? This **** is ridiculous...

Also, if you like getting attention from the supercharger whine, (like me ), you're going to love it. My whine from the supercharger used to start around 3K-3.5K RPM's but now thanks to the smaller pulley, it starts at 2.5K! and it's louder than ever.

I can only imagine how much more fun this car will be tomorrow when I take the blue bolts off to put on the Pulleyboys 2.8inch pulley!
