If you're getting a Stage 2, OTTP, GM Stage 2, & ZZP all offer tunes or a new PCM with their stage kits. All tuned (usually not always) correctly for the parts you're putting in.

Some times minimal tuning is required after wards.

You're not making 14.5-15 lbs of boost on the stock pulley.

You need to research all of the available stage 2 options (GM, ZZP, OTTP, CA, etc.), and decide which suits your goals best.

I think you might need a new cat. Your boost shouldn't be that high

I bought the car off a buddy of mine and he had put the magnaflow exhaust on it but he took the high flow cat off and put the stock cat back on, so would that be making the boost higher?

yes you should still get tuned and like everyone said you cant boost that much on a stock pulley you either have a clogged cat or you already have stage 2

look at pulley to see if it pressed on or if it has blue bolts holding it on

its there was bolts it would mean u would have aftermarket smaller pulley or stage 2 pulley so if ur stock. Your stock downpipe is probably clogged which is why ur seeing such high psi.

ZZP Downpipe. Just added the 3 inch catless to mine. Definately worth the money plus it bolts up to a stock system. Not sure what you are but ZZP has my vote.

Look on your pulley for any numbers as well like 79 or 76mm. Numbers like 2.6 to 2.9 might be on it as well. And your pulley is what controls your boost.

3inch intake,42's, nates 2.9, s3 h/E, vibrant header and exhaust and a zzp pcm tune till you find a tuner to fine tune it. To me thats a true stage 2 anything else and you just wish you woulda saved your money.

which stage 2 are you refering to? gm stage 2 or ottp/zzp stage 2? If you plan on going stage 2 as in 2.8/60 injectors, i suggest a heat exchanger from zzp or ottp AND a meth injection kit. The meth kit is amazing when it comes to the cobalt. Like the pulley and injectors, the meth will require a tune, i highly recommend a dyno tune for that.

Yes they can send you an already tuned pcm.
Get the shorter belt
You don't need a dual pass just get an heat exchanger

Zzp and ottp has the kits and everything you need
