I like who they said the stage 1 ecu calib will allow for more boost from the stock pulley. Maybe we will top out at 13 or 13.5 instead of 12.5 then with the stage twos pulley we could be up to 15 - 15.5 lbs.

WOOT!!

HOWEVER, I notived that they said the puley was going to be a 79mm pulley I could have sworn up and down one of the pictures from sema said stage 2 was a 77.9mm pulley...

But getting stage 1 and a 2.8" pulley sounds like a m/f'ing killer car!!

I agree, I my innitial plan was to use the 2.8" pulley with the stage 1.

I would also love to combine that configuration with a twin charge.

I would expect high 13's with stage 2 alone.

Add I/H/E and I think mid 13's are in reach with a good driver (maybe with a clutch upgrade also).

Add some drag radials - well who knows yet

I could be wrong, I like being optomistic

Thumbs up

NO marc you sound perfectly right! Ide say a SS or redline with G85/competiotion package
w/ drag tires, tq brace, tranny mounts, short shifter, and minor suspension work could hit a 13.9 easy put a I/H/E and gm stage 1 and 2 (im being optimistic but i say 12.9

are cars suck in the 1/4 time because of are 1st and 2nd gear mainly the 1st thoe, srt-4s are so fast cus they have turbo lag *alot of power off the line but not to much) BUT get its Engine torque (250 lb.-ft. @ 2,200RPM) off the line so there tq brings them up to speed there hp is gaining hard when turbo starts spooling.

Ok from what iv herd when the stage packages come out is there will be the parts in the package but there wont be a new ECM they will give u a number and u have to take it to a dealership thats when we will take over hook the TECH 2 up 2 the car and reflash your stock ECM putting the info that GM wants on it.. the STAGE 1 kit and STAGE 2 kit have the same INFO on the there isnt a diffrane from what iv seen....... when i looked at them on GM spec page we have at my dealership i work at

do you think that the stage2 flash might allow for higher boost levels?

The refalsh is stage 1 only, unless you but the full stage 1 + stage 2 package.

Does the dealership have to install the parts too for them to be covered under warranty?

you need to reflash after each stage kit... otherwise the computer wont understand whats going on... stage 1 - more fuel stage 2 - more air in the engine

so if you've already got stage 1, and you go to get stage 2 you don't get a reflash? just a pulley and belt that costs $400 ?

damn that's a bargain </sarcasm> think i'll jump on the bandwagon too and just get the stage 1 and buy my own pulley

No one knows the prices yet people. All we have is an Excel spreadsheet from one person. Hardly rock solid evidence.

Well Stage 2's peak numbers aren't that much better than Stage 1's but I bet you'll get a beefier powerband. It may also benefit more from other mods.

I'm just jealous because you guys don't have to buy new ECUs like us.

He said that it will only be available on the 28th of april and it will be $1150 without the install. Bullshit. Everyone else is getting theirs for a few hundred chaper and they have been running with them for a few weeks now. How come their being ********? Someone help me out here..... with anything at all

It may only give 5 peak hp, and 13 peak tq, but the area under the curve will increase immensely. It adds power at all RPM's.

Stage 1 only drops your 1/4 mile .3 with an addition of 31 hp. Another 5 hp comes from stage 2, but you 1/4 mile will drop another .4. This is because stage 1 is all about peak hp, and stage 2 is all about power under the curve.
