stage 2 kit cost to install

Before I go into it, I just got my tranny mounts installed from ttr.com and there bangin! Anyway I am going to order a stage 2 kit in the next month or so, so I called up John Kennedy Chevrolet in Southampton, PA and they wanted to charge me $450 for stage 2 installation, flash etc... Is this a little high or is it just me?

If you have a good amount of time on your warranty trust me let the dealer install it. If you dont like the quote from that dealership then look for another and call around. I called 4 different places and got a quote of 250ish from the last place i called. The first place i called wanted 550 and was like shiiiitttt. Mainly the dealership gets pissed cuz you didnt buy the stage 2 from them. But yea shop around and the search button is your friend. There are approximatley 278,903,021.52 threads about the price of the stage 2 install.

I installed stage 2 myself and the only thing that changes is the warranty on the kit's parts, not your powertrain warranty ! If you do it yourself they only cover the KIT part's for 12/12K if the dealer does it 36/36K of the bumper to bumper warranty .

Just do it yourself! Me and my friend did it in two days after school. PM me if you have questions about it cause we ran into a few problems and learned how to fix it. And if you wanna know what a J-Tool is....we made one lol.
