Stage 2 is not 3"

stage 2 is just under 3.1"...

Stage 3 is 3".

On the stage tune, dont go any lower than the stage 3 pulley.

if your getting a custom tune, a 2.8 is the lowest you can go if your tuner knows what hes doing.

stage 2 has 42.5lbs injectors, and the pulley size is 3.065 to be exact. i know there are people here running 2.9 and 2.8's. 2.8 IS safe.... until you get to higher rpm's, like around 6,000. at that point you're maxing out the injectors. 2.9 i've heard maxes out the injectors around 6900-7000rpm, which is when the limiter cuts in anyways.

i'm waiting for a custom tune and 60's before i throw a smaller pulley on... though a 2.9 is tempting since i just did exhaust. lol.

I'll stop thread jacking. A couple of my friends just recently s/c'd their sedan. They're actually the COTM this month. Feel free to PM them all of your questions. They will be happy to answer any of your concerns.

if he wants to go boom. He's (no offense) just an LS. Going stage 2 is already going to put him over the top, unless he decides to do something about his internals

the 2.9 with 42's & a trifecta tune on stock internals is much as i want to push it. (untill some day down the road ill get rods & pistons) i talked to vince (i think his name was) from trifecta & the tune wouldnt be a problem at all.

never said anything about running boost on stock internals. It's when you put an OTT stage kit on those stock internals.
