Stage 2+ More?

Anyone have or know of Stage 2 Cobalts with say...Intake, Headers, and Exhaust? Not so much the headers...just the intake and exhaust also.

How does it run with extra mods? AF ratios? Dyno? Acceleration? With stage 2...would it be fine to get a 2.8 pulley and use the smaller stage 2 belt? Anyone did that? I believe I saw a few with 2.9 inch pulleys...THANKS!~

from what i gathered... (and what a chevy dealership told me)

just get the stage 2 and run the 2.9" pulley.

anything lower and you will need 60# injectors (and a tune)

So stage 2 would kinda be worthless then with a 2.8, keepin warranty. Do most dealerships care about an exhaust system? I know some manufacturers in general are ok with it...Subaru is fine with it...

Intake can just be taken off if I would need to bring the car in, exhaust would take a bit longer, haha.

Any dynos with Stage 2, 2.9" pulley, intake, exhaust? (Possibly with headers?)

i haven't dyno'd yet, but i can say my airbox mod + CA header and 2.5" Downpipe w/o cat on top of the stg 2 dramatically increased response and power in my car (freed up a bit of power in low rpm and gives butterfles in your stomach at top end). I don't even have a catback yet, i don't know why people opt to buy them first.

i just took my balt to a Chevy dealership and they told me....

ANYthing you order from gmpartsdirect... or crateenginedepot.com (anything GM MAKES that is performance) other than the STAGE 3 kit.. is FULLY under warranty as long as a GM dealership installs it.

i repeat...

anything on gmpartsdirect or crateenginedepot that is NOT the stage 3...is fully under warranty as long as a gm dealership installs it

happy modding

Look at the mods in my sig. The car runs great, never had it tuned and it is all warranty safe.

IMO all the GMP is the best way to go. If you value your warnity that is. If not go with whatever makes you quickest and is safe. I have all of the GMP parts running mid 13s without the manifold or dual pass. Cobalt SS/SC with all the GMP parts is pretty impresive for a every day driver under warnity. Good luck.
