I got mine installed @ desantis in Brockton Ma. If you haven't already bought the stage 2 I'm going to recommend making yourself a stage 2 style kit and getting it custom tuned.

Altogether my stage 2 kit installed was around $1k. You can make yourself a kit with a 2.8/9 60's or 42's get a custom tune and be safer and more reliable than stage 2. Not to mention about half the price. Also if there is any motor trouble it is very easy to go back to stock.

If you interested in something like that give Fred Simmons Jr @ SMG Autosports a call. He is a supporting vendor on this sight. His shop is located in Milford Mass. According to mapquest about 50 miles from Greenville NH.

His number is 17745730279 . Don't be afraid to call. It's something to think about as another option to stage 2. If there are plenty of people to back up his work on the sight too.

Do it yourself. The hardest part is installing the new belt, and that's not even that hard. After you're done drive it nicely to the stealership and have them reflash the car. You'll get the feel of self accomplishment and enjoy it more that way.

He is helping me with my turbo as well. His web sight and what he has posted on this forum don't do him justice to what he has done for many cobalts. I would def recomend his before stage 2.

Oh, if we're going to make your own kit for around the same price, a 2.8" pulley with 60# flowmatched injectors and a good tune will be way better than the shitty GM setup.

So you had no problem pulling off the stock pulley or did you pull the whole SC then you need the proper tools to pull the pulley?
I think thats a bit harder than the belt
I just payed the $120 to the dealer & it was real easy I have a garage with all the tools & to keep my dealer & warranty happy I just let them do it & they have to reflash the computer any way so just be done with it rather than the problems of removing the blower & pulling the hub.
Ha ha ha & the belt is the hard thing OK

Yes, and I still stand by my post. I got in touch with one of the local Mustang guys that had a pulley puller/installer and he hooked me up for a case of beer. I bought my own pulley puller/installer from ZZP after that seeing as how easy the kit made it. Well worth the money since I bought it. And yes, routing the new belt over the crank pulley is harder than pulling the supercharger off. But hey what the hell would I know, I've had this car apart more times than most people on here. In fact the only thing I haven't messed around with is the internals in the bottom end of the engine.

Oh, by the way I kept my warranty doing it myself. GM has to inspect the kit to ensure it's properly installed on the car before they perform the reflash. All you have to do is ask the dealeship first!
